But this lovely country is much more than paradise shores; it has also an incredible heritage with antique cities, archaeological sites, and amazing souqs and medinas. The energetic capital, Tunis, and the ancient city of Carthage are also really worth visiting.

HOW TO GET THERE
By plane
Tunisia's main international airport is Tunis-Carthage International Airport near Tunis. From the airport, you can catch a taxi to the centre of Tunis. Otherwise, the buses nr.635 or nr.35 to Ave Habib Bourguiba, leave every 30 minutes and are really cheap.
Tunisia's second airport is Habib Bourguiba, Skanes-Monastir which is served mostly by low cost charter flights from all over Europe.
Other Airports all over the country are serving national and international flights: Tunis Carthage Intl Airport, Habib Bourguiba Skanes Monastir, Sfax Thyna Airport, Tozeur Nefta Intl Airport, Gafsa Airport and Djerba International Airport.
By boat
Ferry services connect Tunis to Malta, Trapani (Sicily, Italy), Naples (Italy), Genoa (Italy) and Marseille (France). Travelling boats usually leave from La Goulette port (near Tunis).
